Our Gala Concert tradition continues with world-renowned pianist Emanual Ax. The multi-Grammy®-award-winning artist will join the QCSO to perform Ludwig Van Beethoven’s powerful and virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 5, “Emperor”, followed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s dark and tempestuous Piano Concerto No. 20. Experience the full colors of the orchestra with Gustav Mahler’s shimmering Blumine to open the concert and Igor Stravinsky’s dazzling and triumphant The Firebird Suite to close the evening.

Celebrate the band’s greatest hits from the iconic albums Beggar’s Banquet and Let It Bleed, including “Sympathy for the Devil,” “Midnight Rambler,” and “You Can’t Always Get What You Want!” and closes with our traditional renditions of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture and Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever set to a brilliant fireworks display.

LANDSLIDE

Landslide — A Symphonic Tribute to the Music of Fleetwood Mac celebrates the music of Fleetwood Mac like never before, with the Quad City Symphony Orchestra. Landslide has performed with orchestras across the United States and Canada.

The Landslide band members include some of the top musicians in rock and roll. Band members hail from Los Angeles, CA and have performed around the world. They are thrilled to be performing with the Quad City Symphony Orchestra in this concert celebration.
