Masterworks IV: The Italian Symphony

February 7 - March 9

In line with recommendations from the Scott County Health Department (SCHD), the Quad City Symphony Orchestra Association has decided to move this concert to a digital-only format. Options for in-person ticket holders are detailed in the public announcement.

This youthful concert features Mendelssohn’s musical exploration of Italy’s culture and countryside in his joyful and energetic “Italian” Symphony. 2019 Quad City Symphony Youth Ensembles Concerto Competition Winner Linda Phan joins the QCSO for the first movement of Mozart’s bright and charming Third Violin Concerto.  The program opens with Rossini’s elegant Sonata No. 1 for String Orchestra.
