The 2019-20 Season’s final WVIK/QCSO Signature Series performance featuring Quad City Symphony (QCSO) Concertmaster Naha Greenholtz, and pianist Marian Lee has been rescheduled for Friday, August 7, 2020, at 7:30 pm at St. Ambrose University’s Allaert Auditorium in the Galvin Fine Arts Center. To allow for mandated social distancing, the in-person audience is limited to 50 people, and the concert will be available via Livestream. 

In addition to a socially distant audience, health and safety measures for this concert include required facial masks for entry and exit, touch-free ticket scanning, digital program booklets, and increased availability of hand sanitizer.  The QCSO asks that all in-person attendees be asymptomatic for at least 14 days prior to attending the event in-person.  Detailed information on the procedures specified for this event can be found on the event’s webpage on QCSO.org.

The concert’s program has also been updated and will now feature Georg Philipp Telemann’s Fantasie for Solo Violin, Florence Price’s Fantasy in G minor, Fritz Kreisler’s Viennese Rhapsodic Fantasiettaand César Franck’s famous Sonata for violin and piano.  There will be no intermission and the program will be hosted by QCSO Music Director Mark Russell Smith.    

Tickets for the original WVIK/QCSO Signature Series IV: Devil’s Dance are transferable for this event. The QCSO staff will follow up with current ticket holders to confirm their intent to attend the live performance or exchange their tickets for access to the Live Stream. Additional tickets for inperson attendance are first come first serve. 

Tickets and Livestream access can now be purchased online at QCSO.org, by phone at 563.322.7276, and in-person at the QCSO Box Office located at 327 Brady Street in Davenport, IA.  The QCSO Box Office is open for walk-in service only on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9:00 am – 4:30 pm.  In-person tickets are $25 each and access to the live stream is $25.
