The QCSO names new Director of Finance

The Quad City Symphony Orchestra has named Darlene J. Link, CPA, MBA, as their new Director of Finance. Ms. Link has over 30 years of accounting experience, most recently as Controller for Augustana College.


Warm tones for a wintery day

Quad City Symphony Youth Ensembles Concerto Competition

Seven young musicians will compete on January 12th for the opportunity to solo with the Quad City Symphony Orchestra. For over 50 years the Quad City Youth Symphony Orchestra has held an annual Concerto Competition with the winner soloing alongside the youth ensemble.


QCSO welcomes back rising star Sarah Shafer

Mark Russell Smith knew he was working with a budding talent the first time he worked with Sarah Shafer at the Curtis Institute in 2007. Sarah had been given the small but important part of Barbarina in Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro.
