On September 27th gather your family and friends for an evening of food, fun, and laughter! The Volunteers for Symphony (VfS) are pleased to present Inspire Laughter, Inspire Comedy, a new event benefiting the QCSO Educational Programs.
This family-friendly fundraiser will feature the Guys in Ties improv comedy troupe! By combining wit, intelligence, humor, and 18 years of experience, this elite traveling troupe presents hilarious and unforgettable shows. Audience members end up as the true stars of the show due to the interactive nature of these performances.
Admission is $32.00 per person and includes dinner with the performance. Award-winning chef Jose Zepeda, known for his delicious creations at the locally loved QC Coffee & Pancake House, will be whipping up a delectable taco bar. A wide selection of beverages will be available at the cash bar.
“This is a new event for VfS,” said VfS Co-Presidents Julie and David Scott, “and we’re excited to experience this type of program in person since we’ve heard from others how much fun this type of comedy can be! What’s better than laughing and enjoying good food while raising money to support music education throughout the Quad City area?”
A team of dedicated VfS members has worked diligently to provide an enticing array of items for a silent auction. Place your bid on over 20 baskets and packages which include items, gift certificates, and experiences including a family game night, the perfect date night, sweet treats from Whitey’s and Largomarcio’s, jewelry from Revell Jewelers, home decor, professional salon products, QCSO tickets, and much more!
