Masterworks I: Beethoven Symphony No. 9
October 4 @ 2:00 pm CDT
Our Celebration of Beethoven’s 250th Birthday begins with Jonathan Bailey Holland’s Ode, a minimalist and hip-hop influenced response to Beethoven and his 9th Symphony through a 21st-century lens. The QCSO will then bring Beethoven’s exuberant and transcendent 9th Symphony to life, featuring a full chorus led by Augustana Professor Jon Hurty and four exceptional soloists.
Tickets currently available as part of Masterworks Subscriptions or as an add on to QCSO at the Movies Subscriptions only. Single tickets will be available for purchase beginning May 15, 2020, at 9:00 a.m.
