School Programs

One of the many ways that the Quad City Symphony Orchestra engages its local community is through an investment in school programming. QCSO musicians supplement the teaching of our local music educators through performances, lectures, masterclasses, private lessons, and much more!

Private Lesson Program

The most important relationship a young musician during their formative years is with a private lesson instructor.

Symphony Day

Every year on Symphony Day, 6,000 fourth and fifth grade students travel to Davenport’s Adler Theatre to experience a live orchestra performance.

Musicians in the Schools

The QCSO annually provides over 200 school presentations/performances featuring Quad City Symphony Musicians and Soloists.
