Signature Soirée: A Night in Vienna

Save the Date for the QCSO’s third annual Signature Soirée. Join us for an elegant evening of music, majesty, and masquerade at the Figge adorned in Viennese Style. Tickets are $100 each and include dinner, a performance, and a live auction to benefit the QCSO’s programs!

Conduct the National Anthem with the QCSO

The custom of starting every Masterworks concert and Riverfront Pops with the national anthem dates back to World War II, and it honors those who have given their lives in service of our country. Mark Russell Smith offers you the chance to be a part of this proud tradition by handing over his baton so that you can lead the orchestra and the audience in the Star-Spangled Banner! This opportunity, at a concert of your choice during the season, includes a private conducting lesson with the Maestro so that you will be ready to take the stage!

Chicago Opera Getaway
Date to be mutually agreed upon | Minimum bid: $800

Getaway to Chicago for a two-day adventure enjoying the sights, sounds, and taste of Chicago. The Windy City’s cultural and culinary offerings are world-renowned and this package lets you enjoy two days of it! This auction item for two includes an evening at the Lyric Opera*, dinner of your choice with a $125 Open Table certificate, tickets to the Art Institute of Chicago, and a two-night stay, including breakfast, at The Union League Club.

Did you know that Maestro Mark Russell Smith’s Passion extends beyond the stage and into the kitchen?  He has picked up some wonderful culinary techniques during his stays in Italy and you could be the beneficiary of his talents by bidding on a seat at the table…or buy the whole table and make it your party with friends.

All auction items must be used by the end of the 2020 calendar year.
