Masterworks VI: Quad Cities Past & Present

This vibrant and varied concert opens with Chávez’ rhythmic Sinfonía India based on Mexican folk tunes. The QCSO then presents the World Premiere of a QCSO commissioned work by James Stephenson inspired by the Quad Cities past and present. The season then comes to a dramatic close with Dvořák’s tempestuous yet triumphant Symphony No. 7.
