Masterworks II: Prokofiev Piano Concerto No. 2

November 8 @ 2:00 pm CST

The program opens with Beethoven’s fiery and heroic Leonore Overture No. 3. Wei Luo returns to astound with Prokofiev’s fiercely virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 2. The intensity continues with Osvaldo Golijov’s tango-influenced Last Round, and the program closes with Bartók’s alluring and dramatic suite from the Miraculous Mandarin.

Tickets currently available as part of Masterworks Subscriptions or as an add on to QCSO at the Movies Subscriptions only. Single tickets will be available for purchase beginning May 15, 2020, at 9:00 a.m.
